state of the art

Time Proven Technology
There's a vast array of materials and processes
used today to manufacture hot tubs and pools.
Many companies are now using inferior
imported components and eliminating
important processes.
It's obvious to even the uneducated
shopper! Kick the cabinet! Try to lift the
spa, you shouldn't be able to! Find out where
the components are made! It all matters!
Look carefully inside and out!
Recycled Green Cabinets
Atera Spas®
fabricates Eco-
Smart™
Cabinet
Panels and Corners
entirely of Recycled
High Density
Polyethylene. HDPE
support struts are
welded with HDPE
rods to eliminate
commonly used pressed board that delaminates
during expansion and contraction as a result of
changing temperatures. The result is a beautiful
UV stable Cabinet that does not require any
maintenance of any kind!
Yes, the Eco-Smart™ Cabinets on Atera AnyTemp
Spas and Hot Tubs have a Lifetime Warranty!
Inexpensive wood and PVC cabinet panels will
delaminate, shrink, warp and discolor in a very
short period of time if not maintained regularly.

Solid Foundation
Atera Spas® have a Solid Support
Base Pad! A mixture of Recycled
resin
and sawdust creates an actual
foundation under the entire foot
well, where combined weights often exceeds 4,000 lbs!
This eliminates the common cement
slab requirement. A hard level surface
is just fine!
No drains or jets are located in the floor! Floor fittings require a foam backing in order to gain access for repair. Over time, foam compresses from water and body weight often resulting in a sagging foot well. This condition can cause acrylic shell cracks in the foot wells and top rails! Having jets or drains in the bottom of your spa is not a good trade for a Solid Support Base Pad!
Framed Home
A Pressure treated 2"x 4" Frame and Corner Gussets
eliminate racking, providing the ultimate rigid structural
support. No corrosion, rusting or twisting of galvanized
tin studs! A plastic, moisture, rodent and insect barrier
floor attaches to the frame. This also dramatically
reduces heat loss when spas are located on raised decks
or freezing ground!
Beware of non-treated lumber! It may rot and is a
favorite of termites!
2" x 2"lumber should not be used for weight bearing framing studs! 2" x 2" lumber used as frame studs does
not hold the heavy weight load of water, people and vessel
for twenty years!
Lucite XL Cast Acrylic
"Work of art" vessels are thermoformed with proven
beautiful Lucite XL Cast Acrylic Microban sheet.
Vinyl-ester resin and fiberglass is hand laminated to the
Acrylic to form a permanent bond. Polyester resin and
fiberglass is then laminated to the Vinyl-ester bond for
additional structural support. Don't settle for acrylic
or polyethylene shells without proven fiberglass reinforced plastic structural support, especially in
hot climates and climates with substantial daily
temperature changes.
"Old School American Processes" aren't cheaper, they're far better! |
